Specially formulated for skin already acclimatised to vitamin C, this serum combines two forms of vitamin C – one oil-soluble (Lipo-C) and the other water-soluble (Hydro-C) – with EGT Amino Acid. Through powerful synergistic interactions between the two actives, radiance lost to pollution, environmental aggressors, dehydration or stress is restored while the complexion is refined for a more even skin tone and texture.

For additional skin brightening and anti-pigmentation support, the serum is infused with Tranexamic Acid and Niacinamide, two versatile ingredients with multiple benefits. Tranexamic Acid helps reduce inflammation and dark spots, while Niacinamide has been proven to even skin tone, strengthen the barrier function and stimulate collagen synthesis.

HOW TO APPLY

C1 is a daily serum that helps improve dullness and texture caused by environmental stress, revealing a brighter and more even complexion. Apply it in the morning and/or in the evening after cleansing and allow it to absorb before following with eye cream, moisturiser and SPF (AM).

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

If your skin is prone to sensitivity and/or you haven’t used vitamin C-based skincare before, we recommend taking a phased approach to C1. Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

For SPF, we recommend using our tinted or invisible Skin Insurance face sunscreen.

Can I use A1 and C1 serums at the same time?

If your skin is already acclimated to vitamins A and C and combining the two active ingredients is part of your current daily routine, proceed with applying C1 in the morning and A1 at night for optimal results. For first-time vitamin A and vitamin C users, we recommend gradually introducing the serums into your skincare, starting with a biweekly application. If you notice any signs of irritation, try alternating days until your skin acclimates.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes, C1’s carton, lid and bottle are fully recyclable and easy to dispose of after use.

Can’t see any difference.

The bottle is tiny for the cost and I can’t see any difference. I bought the Vit A retinol/retinal recently and it’s really good but again such a tiny amount for the cost. Lasted me 5-6 weeks and it’s circa £90 same at the Vit C.

Brilliant vitamin c cream

I’ve tried a bunch of different vitamin c creams but this is by far the best - really gives a great glow and feels fab

Not noticed much difference

I thought I’d give this new product a try as I liked the description and felt it would give me good results.
I personally prefer the stem cell elixir and think this gives me more of a glow than this vitamin c serum. My pigmentation is also very much the same
