If you've been diagnosed with a skin condition like eczema, rosacea or contact dermatitis, we recommend talking to your doctor or dermatologist before proceeding with any active ingredients.

Applying SPF during the day is essential, especially when using active ingredients like vitamin C. The expert combination of vitamin C and SPF also boosts UV protection to help prevent sun-induced skin damage, which can compromise skin health and lead to premature ageing. For SPF, we recommend using our tinted or invisible Skin Insurance face sunscreen.
If your skin is already acclimated to vitamins A and C and combining the two active ingredients is part of your current daily routine, proceed with applying C1 in the morning and A1 at night for optimal results. I am a big fan of Sarah Chapman products, and while this product is no exception, I have found that after a month of using it daily, my skin has become very sensitized and slightly irritated. For anyone who is either new to vitamin C or who doesn't always tolerate it (like me), I would suggest using this product every second or third day - this tweak has improved my skin as a result.

The bottle is tiny for the cost and I can’t see any difference. I bought the Vit A retinol/retinal recently and it’s really good but again such a tiny amount for the cost. Lasted me 5-6 weeks and it’s circa £90 same at the Vit C.

This serum has a very nice, soft texture and most important, it's not sticky like other vitamin C serums I tried. It gets immediately into the skin and makes it more luminous.
